I ran into a problem today when I failed to activate the Publishing feature on a Team Site and followed this tip to fix it.

    please add pageparserpath in web.config of that portal so that you can easily activate this feature or select the template as publishing template while creating the site coollection

    Interesting! I am not familiar with that setting, can you elaborate? Maybe even give an example?
